Fitzgerald is an American cook born in South Bend, Indiana, home of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. His love for cooking started at the early age of 7 while standing next to his uncle "JT" as he prepared a meal for the family. While uncle JT searched the cabinet for seasonings, he instructed Fitzgerald to " turn that meat over '' which he had no clue of what that meant.Unfortunately at that moment there was no attempt so uncle JT proceeded to show Fitzgerald what he meant and exactly how to do it, and after engaging in learning to prepare a meal plus tasting the results from that point on he was hooked.
Aside from just cooking, the element of family love also played a big role in his quest to become a great cook. The feeling he'd get once uncle JT hits the grill, then comes uncle Bobby, Jeffries and cousin Oliver jr.. The smell of fresh food on the grill, the laughs, the smiles and the love made the cooking experience a wonderful thing, especially to be able to share those moments with the ones you admire most. Back then it was all about family and love for one another and today he strives to carry on that exact modo through his passion of cooking and serving the community an array of dishes alongside his soon to be world famous "No Sauce BBQ". Fitzgerald's Smokehouse BBQ is currently located in the Midwest region, but is open to all travel inquiries.
